Common questions

How do friends join my game?

They can type the 6‑digit room code in the Cnvene app, scan your QR code, or open play.cnvene.app on any phone and enter the code. Android phones and iPhones without the app use the web player.

Why does my room say "Offline"?

Cnvene couldn't reach its server, so your room is nearby-only: up to 8 iPhones with the app, close by. Some Wi‑Fi networks (often at work or school) block new sites. Try mobile data, then tap Try online in the lobby.

Someone dropped out mid-game.

If they reopen the app or the web page soon after, they're put back in where they left off. Online games keep going even if the host's phone locks or loses signal, and the host picks up where they left off. If the host is gone for 5 minutes, the room closes.

How many people can play?

Online, up to 20 people can join a room. Each game has its own limit, shown when you pick it. Offline rooms hold up to 8 iPhones.

I bought a game. How do I get it on another iPhone?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the purchase.
